White Coppice Walk

White Coppice walk in Lancashire.  We are so lucky to have this walk as a local walk.  Its not a huge walk (just over 6km and 170 meters of ascent) but it has great variety from the beautiful cricket pitch at White Coppice to the waterfalls at the start, the steady climb up Wheelton Moor, the wood near Brinscall and then finally the plod back to the start following The Goit.

Its a perfect way to spend a few hours, or even better, have a picnic overlooking the views of Lancashire and the South Lakes.

This really is a family walk with nothing we can think of to get in the way for anyone comfortable walking on fell paths (a lot are gravel) and a bit of a climb at the start.

If you fancy extending it out there are plenty of alternatives if you do a bit of digging.
