If you are looking for a campsite with amazing views, right by the side of one of the prettiest lakes in the Lake District with amazing facilities you cannot go wrong with Waterside House Campsite on Ulswater.  Offering pitches for tents, campervans, caravans, trailer tents as well as tipis and pods it should cover pretty much any outdoor adventure need (there is also a range of pitches including premium, all weather and pitches with electric hook up)

On site we have always found the facilities to be clean and well maintained and the staff to be friendly and helpful.  There is a small shop on site that should bail you out of most essentials that you left at home as well as a pop up cafe for the days you need to get off early or want to just get back from an adventure and eat.

At the time of writing this fire are permitted so you even get to spend the evening toasting marshmallows and keeping warm by the fire (and if you are lucky enough to get a lakeside pitch sit looking at the beautiful view).

Onsite you can also hire mountain bikes and rowing boats as well as it being the base for Wake and Surf Ullswater where you can hire paddle boards, get a lesson or have a go at wakeboarding.

If thats not enough the beautiful Village of Pooley Bridge is just 1 mile away and there is a beautiful lakeside walk right into the village where there are shops and lots of places to eat and drink.
