Miles - 5.5 miles (based on the circular route shown on the link below. Shorter routes can be done)
Elevation - 1460 ft
Things to note - there are a few scrambles to content with. These are not high grade scrambles but do require hands and feet to climb up a few sections. Alfie (our dog) was ok on them but some smaller breeds may struggle.
Its a fun hike though with incredible view of Derwent Water, Keswick and the surrounding fells and we love the combination of the hill walk and the lakeside walk through the woods. Its easy to see why this is high up on most peoples favourite walks in the lakes list!
Final note, parking where we started is limited and can be hard to find a space, especially at busier times of the year.
